We accept grass, shrub and tree trimmings, wood chips, large and small trees. Tipping fees are based on load size not weight. We accept cash, check, credit card or established credit.
HAULING
Only organic materials are received and are hauled into our facility by other tree care companies, landscapers and contractors. Then, processed materials in the form of a finished product are hauled out by in-house trucks, sub-contracted truckers and bulk customers i.e. landscapers and contractors.
WEIGHTING
Incoming materials and outgoing products and not weighted. Our facility operates on the volume measurement: cubic yard. The hauling capacity of each dumping vehicle is used to determine tipping fees, and the bucket capacity of each loader is used to determine the amount in cubic yards of product sold. Payment terms: can be by cash, check, credit card, or approved credit.
UNLOADING
Customers are instructed according to the type of material they are hauling the designated area they can unload.

DISPOSAL OF NON-COMPLIANCE/UNACCEPTABLE MATERIAL & METALS
When non-compliance/unacceptable i.e. "trash" material is discovered in a dumped load before the customer leaves the facility, the customer shall either a) pick trash out of the otherwise acceptable pile and remove it from the facility or b) have dumped pile reloaded onto customer's vehicle for removal and be charges a reloading fee.
When non-compliance/unacceptable i.e. "trash" material is discovered in a dumped load after the customer leaves the facility, the trash is loaded into a dumpster and hauled to an appropriate landfill for disposal and the customer, if known, is charged a disposal fee.
PROCESSING Once the natural wood wastes have been dumped at their specified locations, processing begins. Care is taken throughout to ensure good compost management. Close attention is given to material mixing i.e. C:N ratio, moisture content, particle size, porosity, structure and pH. Once the proper mix of raw materials is determined, it is ground into smaller particle sizes and windrowed. Windrows are spaced far enough apart to allow access of fire fighting equipment. Daily temperatures checks and weekly percent oxygen readings are taken to monitor current pile conditions. Piles are turned at least monthly, when pile temperatures reach or exceed 140° F, and when the percent oxygen level falls
below 10%.
